House Examination and Lecture Attendance

Different class teacher involve their students in class test/mid terms/assignments/Quizs/Seminars periodically; the college also conducts house examination in the month of Dec. every year. Students thus get an opportunity to seriously have their self assessment as also sufficient time to make up for their deficiencies before appearing in end semester examination. Unless the students take these exams very seriously, not only a large amount of money almost goes waste they too waste opportunity to excel. The attendance by the student is also equally important. The college Principal can detain as per H.P. Govt. instructions, The cases of such students as have not attended at least 75% of total lectures delivered in each subject and not scored at least 20% marks in internal assessment in each subject offered by him/her under the CBCS. The performance of every student in mid term test/assignments/seminars etc. is directly linked to 50% internal assessment in each subject.
